NBA Fans Pray For Bronny James After Suffering A Cardiac Arrest During Basketball Practice

Social media was filled with prayers from fans wishing him a speedy recovery and strength to the James family.

NBA fans couldn’t believe what they read when news of Bronny James suffering a cardiac arrest broke on social media.

The news was reported by The Athletic’s Shams Charania, who also added a statement about Bronny’s present situation. While the good news was that he was stable and out of the ICU, the very fact that an 18-year-old could suffer a heart attack had fans shaken, and the immediate response was prayers for the teen.

“My heart literally dropped seeing the notification. Hope all is well,” one of the fans wrote.

“Prayers for Bronny … life is precious and can be taken away at any moment, in the most unexpected ways Treat each other with kindness and always lead with love,” another tweet read.

Some were crushed: “This ruined my morning, only 18 years old going through this cardiac arrest is tough I’m praying for a speedy recovery.”

“Healthy 18-year-old elite athletes don’t just collapse. FIGURE OUT WHAT HAPPENED, and leave no stone unturned.”

“Omg. Prayers up to Bronny and the James family,” a tweet read.

“This is terrible. Glad he’s in stable condition though. Prayers up for Bronny,” another said.

The prayers were all that was doing the rounds on Twitter.

Bronny had committed to play for the USC Trojans, and now this sad twist of fate comes as a rude shocker. One can only pray for strength to the James family and hope that Bronny comes back to being healthy again.
