Stephen Curry was recently training some young players at his training camp, and explaining how they can add value on offense. And while doing so, he named what he thinks is the ‘weakest move in basketball.’
“I’m going to try to hammer the point home. But as you keep flipping positions, as you keep getting a feel, the last thing we can do out here, the last thing we can do, is getting open and you don’t get it, begging and begging and begging for the ball,” Curry said.
“I don’t care where you are on the court, that’s the last thing we can do. Every other decision is the right one. You got plenty to choose from. Screen away, front cut, back cut, space away from the ball. It’s the most weakest move in basketball, alright? Here we go.”

Stephen Curry is 35 years old and has been playing basketball since he was a child, so he knows what bad habits hoopers need to avoid early. “Communication, that’s the biggest thing. Honestly, I felt like I was the loudest one on this court right here, and that’s a problem. We need everybody to talk, especially if you’re trying to lead a team… people will follow if you talk. Communication is the fabric of the team.”
