Nikola Jokic quickly changed his mind on the championship parade his team held today. The Denver Nuggets are celebrating after winning the 2023 NBA championship, sending the city into a frenzy after closing out a terrific campaign.
Everybody was happy during this moment, especially Nikola Jokic, who now wants to stay in a permanent parade to celebrate with his teammates, coaches, and fans.
“You know that I told that I don’t want to stay on parade,” Jokic told the crowd celebrating him and his teammates. “But I f**king want to stay on parade. This is the best.”

Moments after winning the 2023 NBA championship, Jokic didn’t like the idea of having this parade, as he needed to go home as soon as possible.
“I need to go home. I mean, we succeed in our jobs, and we won the whole thing. It’s an amazing feeling. But like I said before, it’s not everything in the world,” the 2023 NBA Finals MVP previously said.
After joking that he would ask Nuggets owner Stan Kroenke for a plane to land in Serbia in time for his horse racing, Jokic has a new mindset now. The two-time NBA MVP celebrated his success with the people who helped him achieve it and lived great times with them.
Nikola Jokic And His Daughter Celebrated The Championship In A Lovely Way
He was also spotted celebrating with his daughter on the bus, starring in a wholesome moment. The player always sent messages to his daughter during the postseason and now that the job is done, he’s taking her everywhere to celebrate.

His wife and daughter were the first one he looked after winning the championship, having a very nice moment on the court after the Finals was over.
The Joker and his Nuggets are here to stay and they are ready to win more championships in the next seasons. If Jokic keeps improving his level, and the role players keep playing as they did this season, it’ll be hard to dethrone the Nuggets.
Jokic finished the 2023 Finals averaging 30.2 points, 14.0 rebounds and 7.2 assists against the Miami Heat, shooting 58.3% from the field, 42.1% from beyond the arc and 83.8% from the free-throw line.
