The Los Angeles Lakers completely blew out the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 6 of their first-round matchup. The Grizzlies came in as the 2nd seed and the team once again talked a lot, but eventually, the Lakers sent them packing.
Dillon Brooks had a lot of wild things to say about LeBron James earlier, but he has since been forced to shut up by the Los Angeles Lakers dominant showings. And after Friday night’s embarrassing loss, Brooks left without talking to the media again. As such, fans online roasted him a fair bit.

The Memphis Grizzlies have done much talking with their current team, but are still without significant success in the playoffs. Dillon Brooks is the face of that and fans have had their issues with the situation. As such, LeBron got applauded for his decision to not shake hands with Brooks or his teammates.

Fans like any team and its stars to be humble, at least until they back it up and win a championship or two. Putting it simply, Dillon Brooks will need to improve if he wants to continue talking the way he has been in the last few years. As a fan said, there are only two options if being respected in the goal, and so far, Brooks hasn’t fulfilled either of them.

Dillon Brooks Seriously Struggled In This Series
In his 5 games against the Lakers, Dillon Brooks averaged just over 10 points per game while shooting an abysmal 30% from the field and 21% from three-point range. Despite all his talk about LeBron James, Brooks wasn’t even able to perform at a decent level, instead, his inefficient play proved to be detrimental to the Grizzlies.
There is never any way to know how a player is dealing with their situation but Dillon Brooks is not handling it well. He deleted all the posts he had on Instagram and not wanting to engage with the media or fans. He brought this upon himself though, so it’s a bit difficult to feel too much sympathy for him.
