The Sacramento Kings have taken a 2-0 lead in their first-round matchup with the Golden State Warriors.

The game got controversial after Draymond Green stomped on Domantas Sabonis’ chest after Sabonis grabbed his leg post a fall. Though Sabonis was at fault as well, Green’s stomp was extremely aggressive and brought out a lot of angry fans.

A fan said that Draymond belongs in the WWE.

Damian Lillard defended Draymond’s actions.

Fans had many jokes, including someone sharing a picture of the underside of someone’s shoe.

The wrestling comparisons and clips continued to flood Twitter.

Draymond mocked the Kings fans in the arena before leaving after the foul, which caused more jokes from fans.

Sabonis definitely felt that stomp and may even have a bruise to remind him of this incident later.

Draymond is known to instigate players by wrapping them up after plays or while defending them, so fans were amused to see Sabonis get Dray ejected after aggravating him enough.

Though people are debating over the issue, the NBA is likely to investigate this foul later. This could be a death knell for the Warriors if Draymond is suspended for Game 3 for his actions, something the league will have to carefully deliberate upon before making a decision.

Is The Dynasty Ending In The First Round?

In his entire NBA career, Stephen Curry has never been down 2-0 in the playoffs. That’s an incredible statistic and shows how proficient the Warriors have been in the last decade. They haven’t lost a Western Conference series since 2014, so a Kings series win would be historic in nature.

Nobody should ever count out Golden State, so everyone will be holding their breath to see how this series ends up. The Kings couldn’t have dreamed of a better way to end their 16-year postseason drought, so they need to stay focused and ensure the Warriors don’t come back in this series.
