Draymond Green just got ejected from Game 2 of the series between the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors for stomping on Domantas Sabonis’ chest.
The game was in a tense fourth-quarter battle when Domas went to the ground after a shot attempt and grabbed Draymond’s legs as he was walking over him. The Warriors forward responded by stomping on Sabonis’s chest and hopping onto the court.

Sabonis was laid out on the ground for a while as the referees reviewed the play and ejected Green as a result. The Kings center was also penalized for grabbing Draymond Green, but his penalty wasn’t as severe, as the Warriors got free throws only with Sabonis remaining in the game.
Will Draymond Green Be Suspended For Game 3?
This game is going down to the wire and neither team looks set to win late in the fourth. If Golden State loses, a Draymond suspension may ruin their chances at making a 2-0 comeback. If the Kings lose, it gives them an opportunity to steal Game 3 on the Warriors’ home floor.
There is precedent for players getting suspended for moves like this, as Draymond knows based on his experience in the 2016 NBA Finals. The foul was extremely careless by Green and showed him act out of frustration. This could have massive ramifications on the series going forward, and the NBA office will have to be careful while deciding the punishment Draymond gets if any at all.
