Dillon Brooks’s not one to pull a punch, figuratively and literally. And the Memphis Grizzlies star was at it again when he got into it with James Harden when the team locked horns with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Things got heated just over three minutes after tipoff. The duo got into each other’s faces, and neither of them was ready to back down. And the fans were miffed at Brooks’ antics over the years and the course of the season.

One of the fans believed that Brooks was the one player who was ready to fight with everybody in the league.

This was seconded by another fan who trolled him, saying the Grizzlies would lose every time they picked a fight.

A fan didn’t mince his words: “Harden is like the most relaxed guy in the league. Dillon Brooks appears to be a massive prick.”

Another fan felt it was time Brooks played some basketball: “Dillon how about some actual basketball highlights instead of these PPV weighting scenes.”

“Dillon Brooks is not a good enough ball player for the number of confrontations he gets into. It’s always the dudes that ain’t like that causing trouble,” another fan opined.

Brooks was called for a foul on Harden, and the Grizzlies player may have nudged the guard even after the foul whistle was blown. This didn’t sit down too well with the 76ers star, who turned towards Brooks. It took some separating, but Philadelphia had the final laugh pipping Memphis 110-105.

Dillon Brooks Even Picked A Fight With Joel Embiid During The Game

As if there wasn’t enough drama at the start of the game, Brooks was even involved in an altercation with Joel Embiid.

The trash talk continued, and it came to a head again when the Sixers were leading 108-105 with just 9.4 seconds on the clock. Jaren Jackson Jr. fouled Tobias Harris, but soon after, Brooks and Embiid squared off, and there was a bit of pushing around before their teammates separated them.

Speaking to the media after the game, the Sixers’ big man had a dismissive reply. Per Yahoo! Sports:

“Nothing. Just guys, whatever. Nothing.”

The Grizzlies forward has been in the news for his previous altercations during the game, and safe to say that’s not going to stop anytime soon.

However, Brooks and the Grizzlies could perhaps sit down and figure out how to channel that rage better and win the game as the regular season inches to an end.
