Being an NBA fan really pays off during the NBA Trade Deadline. Each season, a few unbelievable trades shock everyone. This time around, Kevin Durant getting traded to the Phoenix Suns is certainly the one trade that shocked the league to its core.

Following Kyrie Irving’s trade to the Dallas Mavericks, many expected Durant to do the same. Moreover, the Phoenix Suns were certainly one of the rumored destinations for Durant, but the fact that the Suns managed to pull off this trade without giving up Chris Paul, Devin Booker, or Deandre Ayton is simply unbelievable.

The Suns’ 2022-23 NBA season has been plagued with injuries, and they are still the 5th seed in the Western Conference. Now, with Kevin Durant’s addition to the team, they seem the favorites to win it all this season.

The Potential Starting Lineup Of The Phoenix Suns Is Simply Unfair

Trading for a player of Kevin Durant‘s caliber can instantly make a team championship contender. But apart from KD, the Suns already have a Big 3 of CP3, Booker, and Ayton. Keeping that in mind, the potential starting lineup of the Suns could give any team a run for their money on any given night.

When every player is fit, the potential starting lineups of the Suns could feature Chris Paul (G), Devin Booker (G), TJ Warren (F), Kevin Durant (F), and Deandre Ayton (C).

While the lineup looks stacked and could be a nightmare for any team on the offensive end of the floor, the defense of the starting lineup could turn out to be an issue for the Suns.

However, they certainly have the potential to overcome that flaw by simply outscoring their opponents in every single game. But will that lead to the stars of the team getting burned out? It is a huge possibility and could ruin the party for the Suns.
