Kawhi Leonard got jokes after Paul George recorded his first-ever triple-double as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers. PG13 had a terrific night for the Clips, posting 17 points, with 11 rebounds and 11 assists to secure the 99-88 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Clippers are playing at a better level right now after struggling with the absences of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Now that they’re back, this team can aspire to win it all in a stacked Western Conference.

Even though PG thrived last night, the rest of the team had a difficult night, including Kawhi, who only posted 19 points, with 8 rebounds and 1 assist. Leonard, who made a huge revelation about the regular season, was content with the victory and, after the game was over, joked about George’s ability to get more from his teammates.

Kawhi Leonard Had The Best Reaction After Paul George Secures A Triple-Double

The Clippers shot 38% for the night, which was crazy to Leonard, considering how many assists George got. While talking to reporters, the Klaw revealed that he was surprised by this stat, praising PG for getting a lot from his teammates even though their shots weren’t sinking.

“I don’t know how he got 11 assists. I asked him, ‘who was you passing the ball to?’ We shot 38% and he found a way. He got rebounds, defended well, made shots when we needed it. He’s playing great basketball right now. Amazing.”

It’s very nice to see Kawhi cracking some jokes with reporters and showing his funny side. The Klaw returned to action after missing a big chunk of the first part of the season due to injuries, and now the Clippers look confident that they can compete against anybody on the way to a championship.

Paul George has been on a tear, carrying this team whenever they needed him to take over, and that won’t be changing anytime soon. If their two stars play at the highest level, they will have a big chance to win it all, but it’s too early to make those predictions.
