Stephen Curry is one of the best point guards in the league, and he is the superstar face of the Golden State Warriors. Currently, Stephen Curry is averaging 30.0 PPG, 6.6 RPG, and 6.8 APG for the team while shooting 43.4% from beyond the arc.
Last night against the Indiana Pacers, Stephen Curry left the game with a shoulder injury, which left a lot of fans worried. Recently, Adrian Wojnarowski revealed that, unfortunately, Stephen Curry would miss “a few weeks” with that injury.

It is unfortunate that Stephen Curry will have to miss an extended period of time, as he has been having one of the best seasons of his career. Hopefully, he gets well sooner rather than later.
There is no doubt that the Golden State Warriors’ priority is making it to the playoffs, and it is key that Stephen Curry takes his time to get healthy. In the meantime, the other players on the roster need to step up and carry the offensive load for the team.
The Golden State Warriors Could Use Their Young Players In Win-Now Moves
The Golden State Warriors have been trying to balance developing their young prospects while also competing at the same time. However, a recent report suggested that they may end up trading their young players in win-now moves ahead of this year’s trade deadline.
The Warriors have been delicately attempting to thread the needle, developing the next generation of stars while still winning championships. They have the 2022 title, but prospects like James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody haven’t necessarily arrived yet as consistent rotation players.
The team may stay the course and let them grow into roles, but if the Warriors feel they need actual ready-to-win value to replace players they lost in free agency (Gary Payton II, Otto Porter Jr., etc.), that may come at the expense of their youth movement.
Rebuilding franchises would undoubtedly have interest, which could lead to multi-team deals. It may be the surefire way for Golden State to stay on top, although it may sacrifice its future.
It remains to be seen if the Golden State Warriors do end up trading their young players. Jonathan Kuminga, in particular, has shown progress as of late, and he’s been a solid multi-positional defender and off-ball cutter for the team.
Hopefully, we see the Golden State Warriors figure out a way to be a competitive team in the future. They still have the chance to win a championship this year, and they can beat anyone as long as Stephen Curry is healthy.
