Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the NBA. Ever since his debut in the league, KD has been a fantastic scorer. With his ability to score a mid-range jumper, a three-pointer, or probably any shot out there, Durant has showcased freakish scoring touch and unsurprisingly made his name as a superstar in the game.

Given his repertoire as a scorer and an elite player, it was unsurprising to see that sneaker giant Nike, roped in the 2014 MVP into their star-studded NBA stars lineup. Ahead of his sophomore season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Nike kicked off Durant’s own line of sneakers by launching the Nike KD 1 in 2009.

The shoe line has continued to pop up every now and then and the brand is set to release the 15th edition in a couple of days. While KD is all set to get his 15th signature shoe, the 2-time Finals MVP has never shied away from interacting with fans who sport his shoes.

Recently, KD had a hilarious reaction to a fan sporting a rare pair of white Nike KD 8’s. Replying to the fan, Durant wrote, “If u don’t go get a bucket in those today then I don’t respect this post lol.”

The 32-year-old certainly does not ever shy away from interacting with fans, and this instance was no exception. Durant meanwhile will hope that the release of the new pair of Nike KD’s brings some fortune and luck for the upcoming season.

With teammate Kyrie Irving’s future uncertain and the Nets reluctant to break the bank for the guard, the superteam KD pieced together might be falling apart. Expected to win the NBA championship, the 2021-22 Nets could not even win a single playoff game, which is outright embarrassing.

Given how uncertain the future of his co-star looks, will Durant and Co. have one last hurrah at the NBA championship, or will we see KD sporting a new jersey along with his new KD 15s? Only time will tell.
