At first look, it may look weird that the Lakers head coach is sharing a hilarious moment with the best player of the Nuggets. But is it really that weird? Sure, the playoffs are the most crucial time of the season for everyone in the NBA. But below the competitive spirit, it’s all about entertainment.

Moreover, there are no rules that disallow Ham and Jokic from sharing a moment before a playoff game. However, at the same time, the Lakers are currently down 0-2 in the series, and the rookie head coach needs to find a way to help his team level the series over the next two games.

Darvin Ham’s Hilarious Strategy To Stop Nikola Jokic

Nikola Jokic may have missed out on winning the third straight MVP award of his career, but that doesn’t mean he’s not the best player in the NBA.

If anything, this playoffs, Jokic has simply been sensational and has carried the Nuggets to victories almost single-handedly at times. Keeping that in mind, it’s a hassle for opposing coaches to find a strategy to stop him in his tracks.

Well, Darvin Ham joked about his foolproof plan to contain the two-time MVP before the start of the Western Conference Finals.

“Try to catch him out of his house and kidnap him.”

Initially, it may have been a joke by the Lakers’ head coach. But looking at the way that the Joker is dominating the series, Ham may really have to resort to kidnapping him in order to help the Lakers win games.

Jokic is averaging 28.5 PPG, 19.0 RPG, and 13.0 APG in the series so far. Will the Lakers find a way to stop Jokic? As of now, the Purple and Gold seem to have no answer for him.
