People are coming out in support of James Harden after the star called Daryl Morey a liar and vowed to never play for a Moprey-led team again.

Anna Horford, Al Horford’s sister, shared Harden’s video criticizing Morey and went in on the 76ers as an organization.

“It’s almost like the entire organization is one giant, miserable sh*t show.”

Al Horford played for the 76ers in the 2019-20 season, the year Morey took over. Horford’s tenure ended quietly, as he was traded in December 2020 to the Oklahoma City Thunder, that sat him mid-way through the season to continue tanking.

Horford didn’t play competitive basketball until he was bought out by OKC and re-signed with the Celtics, the team he left to join Philadelphia. From his sister’s comments, it’s clear Al didn’t enjoy his time in Philly.

The Philadelphia 76ers Have Ruined The Joel Embiid Era

Regardless of what happens with Harden, it’s clear that the Joel Embiid-era in Philly has been heavily mismanaged by the organization. Embiid has seen three front office reshuffles, three head coaching changes, and various co-stars either fail to live up to expectations or leave the franchise in nine years so far.

The lack of a competent roster is only part of the problem, as Embiid needs to take accountability himself for the disappearing acts he’s pulled in the various Game 7’s his franchise has lost in the second-round situations.

He averages 22.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists on 38.6% shooting from the field in three Game 7 appearances in his career, which explains why he’s the only MVP to never advance to a Conference Finals.

It doesn’t look like the Harden situation with yield a big return for Philly, so the team will be worried about how to salvage their future. Teams will line up, and down the block for Embiid, all they’re waiting on is for him to ask out.
