With the Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 on Tuesday, an old video surrounding two of the stars on display has gone viral

Back in 2021, Anthony Davis was playing GTA RP when he kidnapped a player wearing a Stephen Curry jersey and then shot him off a bridge.

Davis did the deed and then hilariously said, “We Out” before fleeing the scene. It is a mystery if Davis targeted the individual because he was wearing a Curry jersey but it was all in good fun at the end of the day. It would be hilarious if either of these two end up being asked about this at some point during the series. AD is an avid gamer who played a lot of GTA back then and he has also played a lot of NBA 2K over the years. For now, though, his focus would be on beating Curry on the court rather than shooting him off it.

Anthony Davis And Stephen Curry Will Play Big Parts In Determining The Outcome Of The Series

Davis will be backing himself to put on a show against Curry and the Warriors but not everyone is confident he’ll be able to do it. Charles Barkley said on Inside the NBA that he can’t trust Davis because he is so inconsistent. He believes the series will come down to whether AD can have four great games as that would almost ensure the Lakers come out on top.

Another key to winning the series for the Lakers would, of course, be finding a way to slow down Curry. The Warriors superstar erupted for 50 points in Game 7 against the Sacramento Kings as he single-handedly led his team to victory. Lakers fans believe Jarred Vanderbilt can stop him but we have seen over the years, that teams really have no answer for Curry when he gets going. Will Vanderbilt be the one to slow him down? We’ll have to wait and see.
