Jayson Tatum is one of the best young players in the league, and he is widely accepted as the best player of the Boston Celtics. He is a fantastic shot creator and scorer. Currently, Jayson Tatum is having an All-NBA caliber season and is putting up 27.0 PPG, 8.1 RPG, and 4.3 APG.
There is no doubt that many are high on Jayson Tatum’s potential. One of those people is Washington Wizards star, Bradley Beal. Recently, Bradley Beal has claimed that he views Jayson Tatum as the “next face of the league”.
We grew up together… I would always tell Jayson when he was younger: “You’re going to be a million times better than me. A million”. To see it happening as fast as it is, is really crazy… To see the success he has… I forget that he’s as young as he is… He’s the next face of the league, and I told him: “That is your goal”.
There is no doubt Jayson Tatum has a very bright future ahead of him. He’s only 24 currently, and he still has time to improve even further. It is not a stretch to suggest that he could win an MVP in the future based on his current production and talent level.
Bradley Beal clearly thinks highly of Jayson Tatum. There were previous rumors about the two potentially teaming up, and Jayson Tatum even admitted that they’ve talked about it in the past earlier this season.
We’ve talked about it plenty of times. I think, moreso, just thinking about how cool it would be to play with him. Just how we grew up and how close we are. It’s something I’ve always dreamed about. We didn’t get the opportunity with the USA team, but we did get to play with each other during the All-Star game last year which was a special moment. You know what I mean. Just like playing in the NBA with your big brother. Who wouldn’t want to do that?
It would definitely be intriguing to see Bradley Beal on the Boston Celtics next to Jayson Tatum. However, the team has been doing just fine as it is. They are 24-6 over the last 30 games, and a lot of people view them as a threat to come out of the Eastern Conference.
It remains to be seen how far Jayson Tatum will lead the Boston Celtics this season. With the way he’s been playing, a Finals berth certainly isn’t out of the question, and perhaps this is the year we see the Boston Celtics get out of the Eastern Conference.
