Brandon Miller Wildly Says The Hornets Will Play In The NBA Finals Next Year

Brandon Miller is already making unrealistic predictions about the Charlotte Hornets.

The Charlotte Hornets recently acquired Brandon Miller with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

Miller is already confident in his game, and just made a bold prediction about the team’s future in the 2023-24 NBA season, claiming that they will play in the Finals.

“Making all the winning plays [is how I can impact the team], do whatever the team needs me to do. I see the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA Finals next year. Hopefully, we will get to that,” Miller told Ashley Stroehlein of WCNC.

We had a chance to speak with Brandon Miller after the Hornets selected him as the No. 2 overall pick in this year’s NBA Draft. Check out our convo below ⬇️🏀#NBADraft | #BuzzCity | #Hornets | pic.twitter.com/5WKB0ByhLF

It’s always great to see all these new players entering the league with huge confidence, but some of them are way over the top. Anthony Edwards was the same when he first came into the league, and after four years, the shooting guard is set to become a superstar.

Miller has yet to prove that he can at least be a solid player for the Hornets, as many wanted the team to draft Scoot Henderson over him. After reportedly impressing Michael Jordan during his private workouts, Miller is set to help LaMelo Ball create a terrific partnership in Charlotte.

During his time in Alabama, a college known for its football program, he really stood out, posting 18.8 PPG, 8.2 RPG, and 2.1 APG while shooting 38.4% from the 3PT range.

Michael Jordan Tried To Punk Miller During Their Welcome Call

Miller is already making noise for the Hornets, and Michael Jordan tried to trash-talk him as soon as he became a Hornets player. The six-time NBA champion gave him a welcome call, trying to troll Miller.

They’re ready to make this work, for as long as MJ stays as the team owner. Miller has a lot to prove in the eyes of many, and that should be enough motivation for him. He’s already setting the bar too high with this Finals claim, but to be the best, you first have to believe that you are.
