Brian Windhorst’s take on Bronny James’ career trajectory sees LeBron James’ dream of playing with his son get a bit of a jolt.

“It’s a paradox,” the insider said on ESPN’s Get Up. “The better Bronny gets, the harder it may be for him to play with LeBron. Because, if he does become a mid-first-round pick, a team really can’t go for Bronny with that kind of value.”

Windhorst’s argument makes sense considering that Bronny’s impressive rise might be a dampener to James’ aspirations. If the young gun does get selected with a higher pick, it could work against the veteran and the team he would play for at that stage.

That said, James’ contract also allows him to look at his options as a free agent in the year Bronny gets drafted. So, it’s never say never.

LeBron James Feels Bronny Is Already Better Than Most Players In The NBA

There’s no doubt that LeBron James is an extremely proud father. His sons have been excellent on the court, and Bronny has been making waves with his stellar performances.

After praising his son’s performances in the LA State Playoffs, James went a step further, saying his son is already better than some NBA players.

“Man Bronny definitely better than some of these cats I’ve been watching on league pass today. S*** lightweight hilarious,” he tweeted.

In addition, Bronny’s meteoric ascension has also seen him have the distinction of being the highest NIL earner in the country, with an estimated $7.2 million. To further add, he is a five-star recruit, and hopefully, the talented youngster ends up realizing his dream of playing in the NBA.

And on the side, maybe James can get a chance to live out his dream of suiting up alongside his son as well.
