Brooklyn Nets Fans Start Booing James Harden After Turnover vs. Phoenix Suns

3 Min Read

The Brooklyn Nets had a rough Saturday night, where they faced one of the hottest teams in the league, the Phoenix Suns. The Suns landed in Brooklyn ready to dominate, which they did, taking the 113-107 win over the New Yorkers.

After the game was over, fans started calling Kyrie Irving to come to save them from disaster seeing how poorly James Harden performed last night. The Beard gave the ball away seven times during the game, making fans angry with his performance.

Things got worse in the 4th quarter when the player lost the ball against Cameron Payne, which sparked a big reaction from fans, who started booing the 2018 NBA MVP.

Even though the Nets have been improving their level in recent weeks, these performances don’t make fans happy. They have the best record in the East and are the only team at .700, but they struggle against solid rivals. After the loss to the Suns, the Nets are 4-6 vs .500 teams this season.

They need to make some changes if they want to win the championship next year. Some say Kyrie Irving is the solution to this, but while Kyrie is inactive, Steve Nash and his players need to figure things out even without the 2016 NBA champion.

Harden talked about his adjustments after the game, saying he’s still working on that.

“Honestly I’m trying to figure all that out right now,” Harden admitted, via Clutch Points. “I’m trying to figure it out. Trying to figure out when to score, when to be a playmaker when to run offense, when to do a little bit of everything. Just trying to figure it out it’s been a little difficult especially since you know, well whatever, but it’s been a little difficult but I’m just trying to figure it out.”

The Nets have big expectations this season. Even with Kyrie out of action, they are expected to compete for the title. That’s why it’s no surprise fans want to see excellence from them every night.

Hopefully, they can bounce back and demonstrate they can get a signature win. The East is stacked this season and the Nets will need to make a statement and show they are the real deal this campaign.
