Carmelo Anthony is a 10-time NBA All-Star and former scoring champion. He played 19 seasons in the league and managed to get onto the list of the top 10 leading scorers of all time. As a result of his greatness, Carmelo Anthony also earned roughly $262 million in salary alone.

Carmelo has some niche interests too, he is a huge sneakerhead. In an interview with Architectural Digest that dropped this week, Anthony showed off his vast shoe collection at home.

The article about his house read, “Anthony and Bonhomme (the architect) both say that maintaining and organizing Anthony’s vast shoe collection has been one of the bigger challenges with the home. They converted a bedroom into a massive shoe closet to house the athlete’s many kicks.”

Carmelo Anthony being a superstar meant he had his line of signature shoes, with the superstar releasing 13 versions of the Melo’s with Jordan Brand. His love seemingly extends to other stars’ signature shoes as well, which is evidenced by the massive number of sneakers in his closet at home.

Carmelo Anthony’s Business Portfolio And Wine Investments

Carmelo Anthony isn’t talked about enough as a businessman, but he has amassed a significant and diverse portfolio during his time in the NBA and after.

Carmelo Anthony’s most lucrative investments, including companies he is directly involved with, include Melo7 Tech Partners, which is a Venture firm, Creative 7, a media production firm, the fashion label STAYME7O, and The Seventh Estate, which is a wine brand he owns.

On top of all this, Carmelo Anthony has several endorsement deals that make him serious money. These include Jordan Brand, Footlocker, Panini, and Haute Time to name a few.

Carmelo Anthony has long been a wine connoisseur, and his brand, the Seventh Estate, sells for about $195 for a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. In 2022, Melo released his highly anticipated first vintage blend, ‘Oath of Fidelity,’ as a part of his company.

In May 2023, Carmelo Anthony opened up about his love for wine in an interview with Wine Enthusiast, revealing that he’s been into wine for 10 years, starting with the time he was dominating with the New York Knicks. All of the things mentioned above have led to Anthony amassing a sizeable fortune.

Carmelo Anthony’s Net Worth

As mentioned before, Carmelo Anthony earned roughly over $260 million during his time in the NBA.

He signed two contracts worth more than $60 million with the Denver Nuggets and the New York Knicks, before signing his biggest deal in 2014 with the New York Knicks worth $124 million over five years.

With the capital coming from his basketball success, Anthony’s investments, endorsements, and business ventures have led him to an estimated net worth of $160 million, with some claiming that he has already crossed the $200 million mark.

Carmelo Anthony was a pure hooper in the NBA, an All-Star, an MVP candidate, and one of the best scorers to ever take the court. His legacy is marked by the failure to win a championship, but there is a lot more to it than that.

Carmelo Anthony will be remembered by fans as an incredible player, and even if he does have some haters, he also has $160 million and counting to help wipe his tears.
