Chris Paul is one of the most experienced players in the NBA right now. Evidently, CP3 has played his fair share of playoff games.
The 37-year-old helped the Phoenix Suns win Game 2 vs. the Los Angeles Clippers. It was a special victory for Paul as he finally broke the curse of losing playoff games when officiated by Scott Foster.
Prior to the Game 2 win over the Clippers, Chris Paul went 0-13 when Foster was the referee. It was a nine-year-long curse. It began back in 2014 when the Clippers lost against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Many believe that Scott Foster hates any team that CP3 is a part of. As a whole, Paul now has a 3-17 record when Foster is the referee. It is truly astonishing to think about.

During Game 2 vs. the Clippers, Paul was recorded repeatedly saying ‘please’ to Scott Foster. Many believe the veteran point guard was begging Foster to let him win the game.
Chris Paul Says He Didn’t Notice Scott Foster Was Officiating Game 2 Against The Clippers
Most fans were happy for Chris Paul when he finally broke free of losing playoff games when Foster was the referee.
Evidently, he was asked about his thoughts in the postgame conference. But to everyone’s surprise, Paul said he didn’t even notice, it was CP3 officiating the game. He claimed the Suns want to minimize distractions in this nail-biting series vs. the Clippers.
“I ain’t notice,” Paul said. “Nah, I think we all about in this run minimizing distractions. So that is what it is. I’m sure it’s still gon’ to be a thing. League know what it is. So can’t control it. Ain’t been able to control all the other ones, so it ain’t gon’ change now. So the game is the game.”

Well, if that was Paul’s goal, he succeeded in doing that. He recorded 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 8 assists in the Suns’ 123-109 victory over the Clippers.
The opening-round series is now tied at 1-1 and the winner of Game 3 will most likely set the tone for who will advance to the Western Conference Semifinals.
