The Curry brothers are shooting the lights out in the NBA and everyone is taking notice. The Golden State Warriors squared off against the Philadelphia 76ers on November 24th, marking the first meeting between them, as the Warriors came out on top.
Given how impressive Stephen and Seth Curry have been so far this season, a fan chose to credit Dell Curry, albeit inappropriately.
Fans have reacted to the tweet, with several appreciating the joke while others have expressed their displeasure.

People forget Dell was a great shooter and he taught them has nothing to do with DNA

This is true and he's shooting at 2x volume of Seth. I'm curious though as to why despite Steph commanding more attention from Ds he's shooting more wide open 3s and less contested 3s than Seth.

Dell played most of his career with the Charlotte Hornets and also was a top shooter. It might have been hard work over genes that got the brothers to be such sharpshooters, but many believe otherwise.
Steph has been the best player in the NBA so far, leading the Warriors to a 17-2 record to top the Western Conference standings. He is the clear favorite to win the MVP award, and as things stand, it will be well-deserved.
It has been a shooting masterclass for Steph, who has made 98 three-pointers in 18 games this season. He now holds the record for the most three-pointers made in the regular season and playoffs, with 3,400 made 3’s and counting.
Seth, although he does not have the same level of success as his brother, is a brilliant three-point shooter who expressed his desire to win a three-point contest at least once in his career. He had a hard time settling in the league, as he was bounced around a lot and used as a rotation player. Regardless, since his rookie year, he has never shot below 40% from beyond the arc.
It is always a thing of beauty watching Seth play against Steph, as you are sure to witness a shooting contest. The Warriors will travel to Philly on December 11 for another matchup, one that promises to equally be as exciting. Steph comes out on top in most of their matchups, which is why it will be exciting to see which direction the next one will go.
