Russell Westbrook recently starred in a curious moment with Memphis Grizzlies’ controversial player Dillon Brooks, going after the swingman in the middle of a game, shutting him down.

Westbrook called Brooks ‘trash’ as he got ready to take some free throws during the most recent Memphis Grizzlies vs. Los Angeles Clippers game.

New footage has emerged of this situation, with Brooks looking kind of scared when Russ directed some words at him. This is a big win for the rest of the league, who was getting tired of Brooks’ bad behavior on the court.

Westbrook had an incredible game on Wednesday night, posting 36 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and dishing out 10 assists. It was a personal win for Russ, not only for his good performance but also for his interaction with Brooks, who just stood there without doing anything.

Dillon Brooks Has Disrespected Many Rivals This Season

Dillon Brooks started the season trying to become a villain, but right now, he’s considered a troll by a lot of people around the NBA. Draymond Green recently called him an idiot in a big rant after Dillon tried to diminish Green’s contribution to the Warriors.

Green laughed at Brooks after Kyrie Irving refused to take the latter’s jersey, pretty much winning this young but entertaining feud.

Brooks has lost a lot of money this season, but he’s not worried about it. He’s been suspended more than once, too, after picking a certain number of technical fouls throughout the season.

The entire Memphis Grizzlies team has been on the receiving end of criticism, but Brooks has been the favorite of many fans. Memphis sits at 2nd in the Western Conference standings, trying to make a deep playoff run this season, but teams like the Clippers will try to ruin their plans and send them home as soon as possible.

Westbrook seemed inspired against this squad, and a duel between them in the playoffs would be great to watch.
