The New York Knicks delivered a massive 121–113 victory over the defending champion Boston Celtics in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, but the spotlight wasn’t solely on the court Monday night at Madison Square Garden.

It was a celebrity-stacked affair at “The Mecca,” where Cardi B, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and a host of A-listers turned the playoff game into a spectacle far beyond basketball.

The most talked-about moment came courtesy of Cardi B and NFL star Stefon Diggs, who made what many fans are calling their “hard launch” as a couple. The duo was spotted entering the arena hand-in-hand, sitting courtside together, sharing laughs, subtle PDA, and even appearing on the Jumbotron.

Social media exploded with reactions. Their courtside presence only fueled the dating rumors that have swirled since late 2024, and this appearance marked their most public moment to date.

They weren’t alone in commanding attention. Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner also sat front row, joined by Kylie’s boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, drawing equal buzz online.

Videos of the trio plus appearances from Jordyn Woods, Mary J. Blige, Bad Bunny, Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, Ben Stiller, Busta Rhymes, and coach Rick Pitino made Celebrity Row look more like the red carpet at the Met Gala.

Fans dubbed it “the most elite Knicks crowd of the season” and flooded X (formerly Twitter) with reactions, jokes, and memes about the star power in the building.

Amid the glitz, the Knicks handled business. Led by Jalen Brunson, who continued his postseason brilliance, New York surged ahead in the second half and capitalized after Jayson Tatum left late in the fourth quarter with a leg injury.

Now up 3–1 in the series, the Knicks are one win away from their first Eastern Conference Finals appearance since 2000.

But on this night, the buzz off the court nearly matched the noise on it. Between Cardi B and Diggs’ romantic debut, the Jenner sisters holding court with Hollywood’s hottest star, and the Knicks closing in on history, Game 4 was less about just basketball; it was an event.

The Knicks head to Boston for Game 5 on May 14. Whether they end the series there or bring it back to MSG, one thing is certain: the stars will be watching.
