NBA Fans React To Rapper Lil Baby Giving James Harden $250K In Cash As A Birthday Gift: “Like Bro Needs It, His Net Worth Is Like $400 Million.”

3 Min Read

James Harden has not been the MVP-caliber player he was for a long time in recent seasons. His move to the Brooklyn Nets didn’t quite pan out the way he thought it would, and his initial stint with the Philadelphia 76ers was also quite underwhelming. However, despite this, it would seem that The Beard is ready to take on next season, and before doing so, he’s making sure that he blows off some steam.

James Harden’s partying is well known in NBA circles, very few stars are known to enjoy the clubbing scene as much as Harden. And another aspect of his life that fans often talk about is his deep friendship with rapper Lil Baby. Harden recently celebrated his birthday, and Lil Baby came through with quite the gift for the Sixers man. The rapper gave James Harden $250K in cash, a wild amount.

Now, while that is a massive number, it’s not that much to someone like Harden, who has earned multiple max contracts in his NBA career. And fans had something to say about it when the news started spreading online.

“Why he giving James Harden that money?”

“Like bro needs it, his net worth is like $400 million.”

“Give that to charity, man.”

“What’s Harden gonna do with $250K dawg, lol.”

“He should now gift KD a real ring.”

“Why does he need more money he already rich.”

“Why Harden? He don’t need it I could’ve used it tho…”

“Some of my friends don’t even give me a dollar.”

“And the rich keep getting richer.”

“This is like that meme of the swimmer with the water bottle in the pool.”

“I want what they have.”

“Y’all trying to figure out why he doing what he doing with his money is sending me lol. He doing whatever the f**k he wants.”

It’s certainly true that Harden doesn’t need the money, despite him having taken a bit of a pay cut on his latest contract with the Sixers. The Beard will not care too much about what people think, he’s too busy living his best life and partying it up before the work truly begins ahead of next season.
