ESPN Finally Admits Jordan Is The GOAT With “How It Started Vs. How It Ended” Post On Twitter

The journey to NBA superstardom is not an easy one. It requires time, god-given talent, and tons of hard work, just to say the least.

For Michael Jeffrey Jordan, his journey from young rookie to the greatest ballplayer of All-Time wasn’t something that just happened overnight. In fact, nobody knew at the beginning just how good he’d become.

In recognition and remembrance of the journey, ESPN posted an MJ edition of Twitter’s newest trend of “how it started vs how it ended” posts with him being drafted in 1984 and then a picture of a GOAT to follow. We’ll leave you to connect the dots.

Considering ESPN has always been high on LeBron, it’s almost surprising to see them admit Jordan was the GOAT. In the comment section, fans were loving every bit of it as they poured in with their reactions…

MJ was the most popular PERSON ON THE PLANET during a decade that included Michael Jackson, Mark McGwire, Mike Tyson, Wayne Gretzky, prime Will Smith, Britney Spears, and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Lebron wasn’t even the most popular ATHLETE on the planet in the 2010’s. Nuff said.

Obviously, the post was meant both as a harmless hype-up for Jordan and as a little joke to draw some laughs on Twitter.

But with LeBron about to win his fourth ring, it couldn’t be any more relevant. The LeBron vs. Jordan debate is absolutely on fire right now, and it will likely stay that way for at least the next few weeks when we’ve had a chance to think on the 2020 Championship.

For now, though, it’s good to know which side ESPN is on.
