Former All-Star Michael Redd Believes The Milwaukee Bucks Can Make A Run For The Finals

The Milwaukee Bucks have been one of the best regular-season teams in recent memory, finishing as a top seed in the Eastern Conference during the 2019 and 2020 seasons. However, that regular-season success hasn’t translated into playoff success, as Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks haven’t made the Finals in either of those two seasons. Notably, they also got bounced by an underdog Miami Heat team in the NBA bubble.

However, this year, it seems like things could be different. Former All-Star Jrue Holiday is now on the squad, and Giannis Antetokounmpo is continuing his run of dominance. It is entirely feasible that they may manage to get out of the conference Former All-Star and Bucks player Michael Redd has expressed the reasons why he personally believes that Milwaukee can make it to the biggest stage.

They have the experience, they have the talent; I believe they have the coaching and they have the organization.

Jrue Holiday was an incredible addition to the team… Then you got Bobby Portis, who’s come along this year and played extremely well.

And the young guys DiVincenzo, Pat Connaughton, they’re developing and getting better. They have a deep team, they just gotta continue to do what they’ve been doing. They defend well, they certainly can shoot the three well. I see them as a top team in the East again.

It remains to be seen how well the Milwaukee Bucks will do in the playoffs. No team with a superstar like Giannis Antetokounmpo can be fully counted out, and the front office has surrounded him with good pieces. The Milwaukee Bucks may be one of the most slept-on teams in the league: hopefully, they can get over the hump and make it out of the Eastern Conference.
