The Los Angeles Lakers couldn’t keep their momentum and lost again. The Lakers lost an agonizingly close game to the LA Clippers, one that could’ve gone the other way had Anthony Davis’ last-second layup gone in. But Frank Vogel isn’t too worried about it right now.

Frank Vogel spoke about the Los Angeles Lakers’ poor form after their loss against the LA Clippers. He believes that their team is still figuring things out, but eventually, they will find the formula for success, and when they do, they will be a formidable team to defeat the others and win an NBA championship.

"We're gonna get there. And when we get there, we're gonna be dangerous. Just have to weather the storm right now."

Frank Vogel said this in reference to Anthony Davis' perimeter shot coming back, but ended up speaking generally about the Lakers.

“We’re gonna get there. And when we get there, we’re gonna be dangerous. Just have to weather the storm right now.”

Vogel was speaking about Anthony Davis’ improving perimeter shooting, but his comments apply generally to the Lakers. Going forward, the Lakers will be hoping that their performances will improve going forward. Anthony Davis has been playing really well since he returned, and has helped the team carry forward in the absence of LeBron James.

James returning to the squad will be a big boost for the Los Angeles Lakers, as they will finally have their big three back available to them. LeBron, AD, and Russell Westbrook have not gotten to play together a lot, and they haven’t been able to build chemistry together, but fans will be hoping that changes soon.

NBA fans clowned the Los Angeles Lakers for losing to the Clippers. Despite this, there are a lot of positive takeaways for the Lakers. Anthony Davis put up great numbers again, notching 30 points and 17 rebounds. His decent form will be a good sign for the Lakers, and fans will be hoping that LeBron James returns soon and they can combine as they did during their incredible 2019-20 NBA championship season.
