Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future has been a recurrent topic in the NBA for quite some time now. The Greek Freak has been linked with a move away from Milwaukee in the case the Bucks fail to even reach the NBA Finals this season, although he’s said over and over that he wants to stay with the Bucks as long as possible.

The Miami Heat, the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers are some of the teams that have been linked with Giannis, but the reigning NBA MVP doesn’t want to know any of that. During an interview with the ‘The Herd’ with Colin Cowherd, Giannis declared he had no intention of leaving Milwaukee, not even if he had the chance to go to Los Angeles.

“My goal is to win in Milwaukee… So I would never leave for L.A.,” he is quoted as saying by Bleacher Report.

He has stated repeatedly that he’s happy in Milwaukee and he wants to win with the Bucks. This season they have a pretty good shot at the title. They had the best record in the league and Giannis was playing great basketball. Now with the NBA returning later this month, he’ll try to keep things right where he left them.

Giannis is a man on a mission and even if he doesn’t complete it this year, he has no plans of leaving Wisconsin. However, anything can happen in the NBA.
