“If Dwyane Wade Is Superman, Gabrielle Union Don’t Wanna Be Lois Lane” – Gilbert Arenas Sounds Off On The Celebrity Couple Splitting Their Bills 50/50

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union are one of the power couples in the celebrity world. Wade and Union have been dating since 2008, and after a brief split in the middle, married each other in 2014.

There are a lot of things that make Wade and Union unique, be it their parenting style or when they turn on red carpets together and dominate. But Gilbert Arenas has now spoken about a part of their relationship that people have been talking about, which is the fact that they split their bills 50/50.

“That’s what I’m saying, they take their bills and they split it. Like cars, okay, ‘We got six cars, let’s just f**king split it down the middle,'” Arenas said. “Because what ends up happening is, one life is a lot bigger and let’s just say if Dwyane Wade is Superman, Gabrielle Union don’t wanna be Lois Lane. Because Lois Lane, like every other regular person, eventually gets cut off. Because you’re not an asset, you’re a liability.

“So what Gabrielle Union will say is, ‘I’m gonna be Superwoman. I’m gonna help. I got an extra 20 grand I can just f**king blow. Here, we’re just gonna throw it and you can help some of these bills out.’ So that’s more of what it is, instead of becoming a liability for your man… Cuz I’m telling you, at some point, Superman will get tired of saving Lois Lane.”

That is an interesting perspective from Arenas on the entire situation, it’s something he has given a fair bit of thought. Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union may not see it in such a mercenary fashion, but they surely do it out of a mutual understanding of what makes their relationship work.

Dwyane Wade Is Worth Four Times More Than Gabrielle Union

Gabrielle Union gave her take on why they split their bills the way they do and it’s an interesting read for sure. For the most part, though, the debate about whether it is right or wrong has stemmed from the vast discrepancy between their net worth.

Dwyane Wade, after a long and successful career, is worth $170 million, while Gabrielle Union is worth $40 million. It seems wild that they split their bills when there is such a big difference between their earnings. But their relationship seems to be going strong, so it must be working.
