Ja Morant has always been active on social media, even trolling some people online. The Memphis Grizzlies point guard isn’t shy to go against those who try to make jokes about him, sometimes taking things too far.

In recent hours, though, he starred in a hilarious moment after he roasted one fan claiming he was compared to Ja Morant at school.

“They always tell me I look like Ja at school ,” this person said.

“nobody told you that, bro ,” Ja firmly responded.

Morant made it very clear they don’t look alike, and nobody besides this person believed that. The 2022 MIP couldn’t help but shut down this comparison, and many fans laughed about it. Despite not being available for his team, he’s been having a lot of fun recently, even adding his daughter to the celebrations after Game 2 of the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Los Angeles Lakers series.

Memphis Grizzlies Beat Los Angeles Lakers Without Ja Morant

The Grizzlies took care of business without Ja in Game 2 of this series, dominating the Lakers behind a solid game from Dillon Brooks. The Lakers couldn’t do much and returned home with a 1-1 series.

Following the match, Brooks disrespected LeBron James, calling him old and mocking his current level. This was labeled as a strategy from the Grizzlies to get under LeBron’s skin, and we’ll know if it worked this Saturday.

It’s still unclear if Ja will play for the Grizzlies this Saturday after picking up a hand injury. The guard will be crucial for his team if they want to recover home-court advantage and take the lead in the series.

Ja left the first game with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists, as his Grizzlies lost 128-112 to the Purple and Gold. He may be out for blood, and the Lakers need to be careful, as the Grizzlies already showed they can be dangerous, even without their superstar.
