Stephen Curry has changed the game of basketball with his 3-pointers, making everybody try to become a shooter and forget about other aspects or shots of the game.

During a recent visit to Oakland, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar jokingly called out Curry for changing the way kids want to play nowadays.

“They’ve forgotten about anything that doesn’t say three-points on it. I’ve got to go across the Bay and slap Steph Curry for him changing everyone’s mind about how to play the game.”

It’s not a secret that once Curry took over the league, the way the game is played changed. The talented guard is the greatest shooter of all time, doing incredible things on the court while leading his Golden State Warriors to win four NBA championships in six trips to the Finals.

Steph is well aware of his impact on the game, and he doesn’t shy away from that. Still, he knows that some things he does can’t be replicated, but some kids don’t know that. Something that he shares with Kareem is that they had impressive MVP seasons, but other than that, their styles of play are completely different.

Stephen Curry Keeps Making History With New Under Armour Contract

Meanwhile, Curry is getting big news, as he recently signed a new contract with Under Armour that will put him in a privileged position. Now Steph will be the president of the Curry brand, and his deal will go beyond his NBA career.

Rumors have it that Curry will get more money from this deal than he’ll get from his total career earnings, which is insane. He has emulated what Michael Jordan did with Nike, but it seems like Steph will take it to the next level.

The Golden State Warriors superstar is still trying to win another championship with his team, but it’s pretty clear that he’s won in life and business.
