Kawhi Leonard is, without a doubt, the leader of the Los Angeles Clippers. When he is on the court, the Clippers have the ability to take on any team in the NBA.

Leonard recently showcased his skills against the Golden State Warriors. Behind a strong scoring performance, Kawhi helped the Clippers win against the Warriors. In the postgame conference, he was asked about his thoughts on scoring 30 points against the Dubs; the Klaw gave a great answer to the question.

“I’m just happy that we were able to get these wins. Scoring 30 doesn’t do anything for me.”

Kawhi has always been one of the more serious players when it comes to playing in the NBA. He has a tendency to keep his utmost focus on winning games instead of celebrating individual success.

But that doesn’t mean Leonard doesn’t have the ability to singlehandedly change the outcome of a game. In the phenomenal win against the Warriors, Kawhi Leonard recorded 30 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.

The Los Angeles Clippers Are Still A Threat In The Western Conference

Following the crucial win against the Warriors, the Clippers have now improved their record to 37-33 and are currently on a 4-game winning streak. The team is currently in the fifth spot in the conference but is closer than ever to cracking the top-4.

As a result, the narrative around the Clippers has changed once again, as they were written off by many after losing a few games. Those losses were pinned on Russell Westbrook’s signing.

However, Russ has continued to improve his chemistry with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George over the last few games. The results of that improvement are getting reflected in the Clippers’ current winning streak.

The fanbase of the franchise will hope to see this form continue in the playoffs and ultimately see the Clippers reach the NBA Finals for the first time in their history.
