Kawhi Leonard’s Incredible Reaction To The New Clippers’ City Edition Jersey

2 Min Read

Kawhi Leonard had the perfect response to the Los Angeles Clippers’ new City Edition jersey. The Clips want to start things fresh the next NBA campaign and their City Edition jersey looks like a very good first step. They showed the new design on social media, taking advantage of Kawhi’s ‘cold’ personality and his contrast with Paul George.

While PG looked very excited about the new design, he claimed he had to show Kawhi and the 2x NBA champion had a great response.

“These are aight,” Leonard said in the video, before laughing and saying he was joking.

The Clippers were inspired by an LA-based artist and the results are just terrific. They wrote on their official website:

“The 2020-21 City Edition uniform’s “Los Angeles” wordmark celebrates the authentic spirit of LA street culture. Inspired by world-renowned artist Mister Cartoon, the design features a reverse colorway from the ’19-20 uniform. This season, the LA Clippers and Mister Cartoon are challenging young creators, athletes, and innovators to Make Your Mark in Los Angeles. When the team wears City Edition on the court, it will be a symbol of our commitment to driving progress in LA and a call for the next generation of talent to put in the work!”

The Clippers are entering a very important season after the fiasco they lived in the Orlando bubble. They are reportedly planning to make some big moves before the start of the season and see if they can do better than last season. This jersey represents a new start for them and we can’t wait to see what the Clippers are going to bring to the table this upcoming NBA campaign.
