The Boston Celtics last won an NBA Championship 14 seasons ago and the stars of that championship run were Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen. The superstar trio defeated Kobe Bryant’s Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals.

Despite winning an NBA Championship together, most of the fans are aware of the beef between Allen and Garnett. One might wonder what was the reason behind it? Well, after playing for a few seasons together with KG, Allen decided to join the Miami Heat.

This led to the breakup of the Celtics’ superteam as the Heat became overpowered with the addition of Allen to the roster. Anyway, fast forward to 2022, it seems like the beef between the former NBA superstars is finally over.

Recently, Garnett got his jersey retired at TD Garden. There were a lot of rumors about whether Allen would show up to the event or not. As it turned out, Allen was present to cheer for his former teammate. KG even appreciated Allen for being present for this special day in his life.

Following this, Garnett, Allen, and Pierce engaged in an emotional hug. Looking at the three superstars finally hugging it out, it made fans believe that the beef is finally squashed.

“It’s good to see Ray Allen here, man. Real s**t.”

Most fans are pretty happy to see the Celtics legend finally putting the behind the past and giving fans such an incredible moment.

On the other hand, several fans believe that Paul Pierce ruined the moment by joining the hug between Allen and KG.

Whether it is true or not, it was great to see this special moment between the three superstars. Hopefully, the beef doesn’t get ignited in the future.
