This season, Klay Thompson came back from a devastating Achilles injury that forced him to miss a lot of time. He has done well in his comeback this year, averaging 20.4 PPG, 3.9 RPG, and 2.8 APG in 32 games, all while shooting 38.5% from beyond the arc.

His production has obviously been great for a player coming off a long layoff, but more recently, Klay Thompson has been on another level. Reddit user Additional-Two-7312 pointed out that Klay Thompson has been averaging almost 30 PPG over his last 5 games, all while shooting 41.1% from the 3PT range.

He’s done pretty great these last few matchups.

vs NOP 41 PTS 7 3s

vs LAL 33 PTS 6 3s

vs UTA 36 PTS 8 3s

vs PHX 13 PTS 1 3s

vs WAS 25 PTS 5 3s

With Klay doing this good – Steph, Klay, JP, and Wiggins are going to be a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs imo

There is no doubt that Klay Thompson’s comeback has been one of the better ones in sports history. There were definitely times when he struggled on the court, but that comes with the territory of not playing for a long time. He is clearly in good form ahead of the playoffs, and his two-way presence will be crucial for the Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors finished the regular season as the 3rd seed in the Western Conference. While they didn’t look as dominant to end the season, part of that can be attributed to injuries and having inconsistent lineups. It is quite clear that when healthy, the Golden State Warriors are to be reckoned with.

It remains to be seen how far the Golden State Warriors will get in the postseason. They are likely to win their matchup against the Denver Nuggets given the talent on their roster, but the Western Conference has some other good teams vying to get to the Finals, such as the Phoenix Suns and the Memphis Grizzlies. Warriors forward Draymond Green has previously claimed that the Warriors would win this year’s championship no matter their seed, so the Warriors are undeniably confident about their chances.
