Kyle Kuzma Delivers Message To The Haters After 20-Point Performance

2 Min Read

Kyle Kuzma has been the subject of criticism all season long. As he has struggled to adjust to this new regime, his play has struggled. Averaging 12 points on 43% shooting, it’s fair to say he has fallen below the bar this season.

As a result, hate, criticism, and trade chatter became the narrative surrounding Kuz and it was believed (for a while) that he would be the next one to go.

Last night, however, it was Kuzma who shined in L.A.’s 122-114 win over New Orleans. He put up 20 points and looked like the guy his team expected him to be entering the season. Following the good showing, Kuzma posted to Instagram with his haters clearly in mind.

The 24-years-old forward still has plenty of time to find his groove, but the pressure is greater than ever for him to play at a peak level. With the postseason quickly approaching, Kuzma will be a crucial member of their run.

Steep competition in the West will demand that Kyle Kuzma produces some quality minutes for the Lakers.

If not, he may find himself back on the trade block — and his critics with the last laugh.
