The Washington Wizards traded away their biggest star, Bradley Beal, on Sunday, with the guard heading to the Phoenix Suns in a trade.

The team will likely blow it all up, and if there was any doubt that free agent Kyle Kuzma is likely to leave, that can now be cleared up. And after a recent Instagram post from Kuzma, it seems like he might just be trying to team up with Beal once again.

A slideshow of pictures and videos showing a road trip, Kevin Durant, and pictures of Kuzma himself was captioned, “Can’t all fit in the SUV.”

With it looking like Kuzma might have been hanging out in Arizona, and specifically with Durant, fans thought this meant he might end up joining the Phoenix Suns.

The deal for Bradley Beal has been announced but is yet to be finalized, and some think he can just come over as a part of that trade.

The Phoenix Suns will be needing some depth after building a new Big 3 and Kuzma might be the ideal piece for their starting lineup. The fans know this.

As always, though, some know the possibilities for a player like Kuzma are endless. As one fan suggested, the Wizards might even build around him.

Kyle Kuzma has a $13 million player option in his contract for next season, but he could get a lot more on the open market. If he decides to hit free agency, Kuzma would likely command upwards of $20 million per year on his next deal, so it’s hard to see him ending up on the Phoenix Suns.

Can The Phoenix Suns Get Kyle Kuzma?

Anything is possible in the NBA. And having built a Big 3, a player like Kuzma that can defend well, has championship pedigree, and can score 21 points per game is almost the ideal fit for the Phoenix Suns. However, the Suns are already locked in to pay over $162 million to just four players, meaning it will be tough to acquire Kuzma.

If they decide to trade Deandre Ayton, a sign-and-trade with whatever team gives Kuzma a contract could be a possibility. However, it would still be a lot of money for the team to commit to. The Suns need to fill out their entire roster and have to deal with being well over the salary cap, so while it is possible, the Suns getting Kuzma remains unlikely.
