The Los Angeles Lakers are one of the most iconic NBA franchises in the league. The Purple and Gold have 17 championship banners hanging in the rafters, and the late-legend Kobe Bryant contributed five of those.

After playing for 20 seasons in the NBA, Kobe Bryant established himself as one of the greats of the game. As a result, when he passed away in 2020, the entire league was shocked.

Once fans and players have recovered from the initial shock, they have tried everything in their power to help the Bryant family. Sometimes the most basic thing someone can do is to hug them.

LeBron James Hugged Kobe Bryant's Daughters At The 2023 NBA All-Star Game

LeBron James and Kobe Bryant are usually considered two of the best players to ever play in the league. While they were fierce competitors for most of their careers, after Kobe retired, they became much closer. The relationship goes beyond just the two of them, and James showed that at the 2023 NBA All-Star game.

In the above-attached clip, James is seen sitting with Kobe Bryant's daughters. Lakers fans loved the video and had some great reactions to the clip.

Most fans loved LeBron's gesture and praised him for it. But a few fans called out James for faking it after getting injured in the NBA All-Star game. While James gets a lot of hate from the media, getting the hate here seems obnoxious. After all, the 38-year-old was only trying to give a heartwarming moment to the daughters of Kobe Bryant.

At the end of the day, most fans understood that gesture, and that's what matters. After all, we cannot expect every fan out there to understand the same and act in a genuinely nice way. We hope that happens one day, but it is something that cannot be expected from everyone right now.
