  • The recent update says Bronny is on the mend and recovering
  • It was noted that Bronny did not have any pre-existing heart conditions

As Bronny James continues to recover from the cardiac arrest scare that plunged the NBA world into shock, new details of the incident have emerged.

A copy of the audio clip of the emergency call placed to the ambulance around 9:26 AM was obtained by TMZ, and the caller was heard saying:

“Get an ambulance here now!”

“Listen… listen to me,” he said. “We need an ambulance here now.”

“We’re going to send help,” the operator replied.

The incident went down on Monday when Bronny collapsed during his basketball workout in the arena and on the call, the 911 operator could be heard asking if there was a doctor or a nurse at the scene to help with CPR. The response was negative from the other end.

Later on, the doctors at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where the 18-year-old was rushed credited the paramedics for their timely call. At the time of writing, the cause of his cardiac arrest trigger is yet to be ascertained.

Bronny was discharged from the hospital on Thursday and is reported to be doing well. As far as his basketball future goes, there is no official word yet as to how his career call takes a turn.

LeBron James And His Family Relieved After Bronny’s Health Scare

Earlier, it was reported that Bronny had a cardiac screening a few months ago, the reports of which were reportedly normal

“Bronny James, who on Monday suffered a cardiac arrest and was hospitalized, had a cardiac screening several months ago as part of a program for prospective NBA players, according to a source familiar with the matter,” a CNN report said.

“The screening included a transthoracic echocardiogram – which looks at blood flow through the heart and heart valves – and an EKG, which is a recording of the heart’s electrical activity, the source said. Both screenings came back with normal results.”

But now, while he’s told to be recovering, the James family is visibly relieved. Right now, his health is a top priority and that was clearly noticed as Bronny is kept out of the public eye and focused on his health.

We certainly hope the young gun, who brims with talent will make a return to the court soon.
