LeBron James isn’t just the face of the NBA and one of the best players in the league, he is also one of the most well-liked celebrities in the world. James is a family man, often sharing the activities he gets up to with his wife and kids. He is someone that helps people and communities in his spare time, especially in his home state of Ohio. And LeBron seems to be quite fun to boot, he’s often spotted hanging out and having a good time with his friends, even his one-time rivals like Draymond Green.

Overall, the King is leading the ideal life, but anyone as popular as LeBron is also bound to have haters. There are those across the NBA fandom that simply don’t like James because of how good he is. And even prominent media members with huge platforms are a part of this, Skip Bayless being a prominent example.

None of this is likely to bother LeBron too much though. He is someone that has always believed in himself and promoted his brand at all times. But recently, he made a bit of a hilarious slip-up that his haters just couldn’t ignore.

LeBron James Called Himself ‘Mid’ By Mistake

The internet and social media have evolved rapidly of late, and with it, the slang that people use has also gone up a notch. Something is described as ‘mid’ when it’s mediocre or not very good. Now LeBron James is known for often using the hashtag ‘TheKidFromAkron’. Well, in a tweet, he made a typo and ended up saying ‘TheMidFromAkron’, and fans were quick to laugh at his expense.

“The self-anointed “king” finally says the quiet part out loud – then deletes it – but he still said it.”

“He finally accepted it.”

“Even LeBron knows MJ is better.”

“This was bound to happen lmao.”

“LeBron is mid confirmed, deleting don’t mean anything.”

“Aww damn Lebron set himself up.”

“This is hilarious, man, the haters are having a field day.”

“Yes, you know it too, LBJ.”

“Never call this man the GOAT again.”

“From the horse’s mouth, LeBron is simply mid.”

“The internet is the gift that keeps on giving.”

LeBron James is far from ‘mid’ when it comes to basketball and life, but that doesn’t stop his haters from chiming in during this situation. The King is highly motivated this season though, as his message to Lakers fans showed, and that means a lot of these people might be eating humble pie soon enough.
