LeBron James came up with a solid response against Dillon Brooks on Saturday night, leading his Los Angeles Lakers to a big win over the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 3 of their first-round series.
A lot was said about Brooks’ antics against James, but the 4x NBA champion made it clear that he’s been unfazed by Brooks’ actions and comments.
“Not, at the end of the day I think my resume and what I’ve done for this league speak for itself,” the four-time NBA champion said. “I don’t really get caught up in any comments like that.
“And like I continue to say, at the end of the day my focus is to my teammates and us trying to figure out a way how we can beat the Memphis Grizzlies, not on how I can beat an individual on their team. If anybody know me, they should know best what I’ve been always about. That’s all that matters.”

Even though Brooks did a lot to try to get under James’ skin, the King isn’t falling for that. He told reporters he wasn’t entertaining any of that and would let his game do the talk. He responded with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in Game 3.
On the other side, Brooks had a terrible game, missing shot after shot early in the game, leaving his team no chance to reply to the Lakers. Not even Ja Morant’s heroics could help the Grizz, who need to win Game 4 to keep their chances alive.
Brooks was also ejected from the game after hitting James in the groin and it’s unclear if he will be available for his team this Monday. LeBron discussed this matter, having an honest opinion on how the Lakers should get ready for this situation.
