LeBron James On The Group Text He Sent To His Team Before Game 4: “This Was One Of The Biggest Games Of My Career, And I Just Wanted To Relay That Message.”

There’s no question about it: these NBA Finals will have an enormous impact on LeBron James’ legacy as a basketball player. For years now, King James has been pursuing the GOAT status and few in NBA history have ever gotten closer to it than him.

But without another Championship to his name, many don’t see how LeBron could ever overtake MJ as basketball’s greatest player.

A victory in this series for James, with the L.A. Lakers, might just be enough to validate his claim to the throne once and for all.

LeBron himself knew how important this game tonight was, and told the media just moments ago that he wanted his teammates to know it as well before the action started.

James basically wanted to remind his guys of the importance of winning the game and hopefully give them extra motivation to go out there and dominate the match.

They did just that, too, outscoring the Heat 102-96 with big performances from Davis, KCP, and Rajon Rondo.

We’ll see if they can do it again on Friday.
