The Los Angeles Lakers vs. the Golden State Warriors’ Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals was a thrilling matchup.
The Lakers had a close 117-112 win over the Warriors. Even though the Purple and Gold have a 1-0 lead in the series, LeBron James urged his team to be even better for Game 2. James believes that the Warriors will come at them with everything that they have got, and the Lakers need to be ready for that.
“They made a huge run at the end of the game being down 10, but we got stops and made some free throws,” James said. “We got the most important stops and was able to close out, but they ain’t gonna stop, and we have to be even better for Game 2.”

Being the defending champions of the NBA, the Warriors never know when to quit. The Dubs proved that in the first-round series against the Sacramento Kings. The Warriors were down 0-2 to start the series but finished 4-3 and clinched a spot in the Western Conference Semifinals.
Anthony Davis Dominated Against The Warriors In Game 1
It has been pointed out a plethora of times that Anthony Davis’ form is arguably the biggest contributor to the Lakers during the playoffs.
In Game 1, Davis recorded 30 points, 23 rebounds, and 5 assists while clocking in 44 minutes. Thanks to Davis’ incredible double-double, the Lakers managed to win vs. the Warriors.
Apart from AD, LeBron James also had a decent game where he had 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists.
The Warriors need to find a solution for the dynamic duo. Otherwise, James and AD have the potential to continue causing problems for the Dubs throughout the series.
Can the Warriors make some much-needed adjustments to their game plan ahead of Game 2? We will find out soon.
