Superstar LeBron James has recently come back from his foot injury, and there’s no doubt that he is still dealing with some lingering issues, even though he still managed to score 19 points in the Los Angeles Lakers’ recent loss to the Chicago Bulls.

After the game, LeBron James revealed that his foot injury was actually a torn tendon, and usually, that injury takes a long time to recover with. The superstar also claimed that two doctors told him to get season-ending surgery. However, James decided against it after seeing the “LeBron James of feet”.

It is clear that LeBron James got the best possible opinion on his right foot, and hopefully, we don’t see the superstar re-injure his torn tendon in the future. He clearly believes it is relatively safe for him to play.

Currently, LeBron James is putting up 29.3 PPG, 8.4 RPG, and 6.9 APG for the Los Angeles Lakers. He has had an amazing individual season, but the key for the team is obviously getting to the playoffs.

LeBron James And The Los Angeles Lakers Could Be A Serious Threat In The Western Conference

The Los Angeles Lakers completely re-vamped their roster ahead of the trade deadline this season, and it is clear that they added shooting and athleticism this deadline. Many believe they could get far in the Western Conference, and Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is among those people that believe the Lakers could make a deep run.

“People can say what they want, talking heads can talk, they are a serious threat in the West right now,” Green said. “Talk about the record all you want, they’ve just got to get in. They get in, they’re a serious threat in the West.”

There’s no doubt that the Los Angeles Lakers have the talent to make some noise this year, especially if they can avoid the play-in tournament. Their recent loss to the Chicago Bulls makes it less likely that they’ll be able to make the playoffs outright, but we’ll see what ends up happening in the future.

LeBron James playing well will be crucial to the Los Angeles Lakers’ ability to get deep in the playoffs. Though he may still be dealing with injuries, we know that LeBron James shows up in the biggest moments, and perhaps he’ll end up winning the championship once again.
