The recent game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Chicago Bulls was a crucial game for both teams, with the Bulls getting a convincing win against the Lakers to solidify their positioning in the play-in tournament.

Guard Patrick Beverley is a player that had a lot to prove in this game, and he even roasted the Lakers ahead of this matchup. He was even taking shots at the Lakers in-game, hilariously telling analyst Shannon Sharpe that the Los Angeles Lakers “stink” as a team.

The Lakers were never in control of the game against the Bulls, and Beverley deservingly got to talk some trash. However, the Bulls will have to try and beat the Lakers once again next week, and we’ll see if Beverley can get them another win.

Patrick Beverley has put up 6.4 PPG, 3.1 RPG, and 2.6 APG for the Chicago Bulls this season. He has been a fantastic role player for the Chicago Bulls, and hopefully, his good play continues.

Patrick Beverley Notably Requested A Trade From The Los Angeles Lakers

Patrick Beverley was traded by the Los Angeles Lakers ahead of the trade deadline, and there’s no doubt that this has worked out for him. He is now on a team that can utilize his skill set effectively, and Beverley previously revealed that he actually asked for a trade from the Lakers.

“To some people, it can be that Patrick Beverley got traded, but in all reality, I didn’t like what was going on,” said Patrick Beverley. “Let’s find a better home for me. Not he ain’t good enough, let’s get rid of him. That s**t was my decision.”

It is clear that Patrick Beverley didn’t like his situation, and it is good to see that he managed to get to a place where he is more appreciated. In fact, DeMar DeRozan has already spoken highly about the point guard’s impact.

The Chicago Bulls have had a bit of a bounce-back after Patrick Beverley’s addition, and it is clear that they have relied heavily on his leadership. We will see how far they get this season, and they definitely have a chance of making the playoffs.
