Sacramento Kings’ heroes De’Aaron Fox and Malik Monk were thrilled that the team won and radiated immense self-confidence all the while.

Speaking to the media in the aftermath of the deserving victory, Monk said the team just stuck with the plan of being relentless with their offense. According to ESPN, “We got down 12 at one point but just had our heads up. We knew they were going to let us back in,” he said.

Fox opined that it was a younger unit that made the difference as both teams matched shot-for-shot. “We just had to grind this game out,” he explained. “We were on the second night of a back-to-back but it is what it is. We have a younger team than them.”

All said the game was an absolute humdinger, one that fans from both teams will not forget for a long time.
