This past weekend was a big one for gamers and NBA fans. NBA 2K22, the long-anticipated video game was released on all major gaming platforms. After NBA 2K21 had outlived its time, fans had been clamoring for the game with new graphics and updated rosters.

Fans seem to be loving NBA 2K22 so far, way more than they did 2K21. The game is a big hit with avid and casual gamers across the board, with a few fans even calling it one of the best editions of the series in years.

As is the case every year, there was a lot of excitement about which players would be the highest rated in the game. Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Steph Curry, and Giannis Antetokounmpo earned the distinction of being the highest-rated players in the game so far.

All four players have a 96 rating in the game. But their elite caliber warrants that. It was players below them that quite a few fans had concerns about. Players like Ben Simmons, Russell Westbrook, and Bradley Beal have not been given favorable ratings in the game, despite being All-Stars last year and playing at a high level.

But now that the game has come out, fans are more focused on playing and enjoying themselves with its new features. Because the game is now available in full form to the fans, we now know the leaders in major attributes for the entire game.

LeBron James leads the Stamina attribute with 99, while Steph Curry has a 99 for 3-point shooting. Kawhi Leonard leads the game in defensive consistency with 97, and Kyrie Irving has the best handles in the game at 99.

As for blocking, Robert Williams and Myles Turner have the highest rating with 97, and Nikola Jokic and James Harden lead the game in passing IQ with 94. Zion Williamson has the best dunking attribute with 97, and De’Aaron Fox is the fastest player in the game with 97.

The player selection for each attribute comes as no surprise. These players have shown with their play during games over the last few seasons that they are some of the best in whichever category that they lead.
