NBA Executive Laughs At The Idea Of Devin Booker Being Traded To New York

2 Min Read

No matter how bad the Knicks are, they are continually included in trade talks involving almost every big name-player in the NBA.

Most recently, the Knicks have been tied to Suns star Devin Booker, whose team has been unable to surround him with the necessary parts to contend. While New York hasn’t been much better off, its central location in New York City gives them a lot of value as a team.

So do they have a chance at acquiring Book? Some say yes, but one NBA executive went so far as to laugh at the scenario.

Clearly, people have their doubts about a Booker to New York trade. And, honestly, there’s no reason why they should be connected to the young star in the first place. Devin is locked into a long-term deal with Phoenix and they don’t seem to have any intention of letting him go.

Moreover, if Book were to leave the Suns, why would he join the Knicks? They have been dysfunctional for years and there’s no indication that things will change in that regard any time soon. Needless to say, nobody should be holding their breath on Booker wear the purple and orange.
