The Denver Nuggets recently defeated the Phoenix Suns in Game 2, with the final score being 97-87. There’s no doubt that this was a good win for the team, and they have now taken a commanding 2-0 lead against the Suns.

Part of the reason the Suns were defeated was due to Kevin Durant’s poor offensive performance. The superstar ended up finishing with 24 points and 8 rebounds but shot 37% from the field, and 16% from the 3PT range. After the game, a lot of fans took to Twitter to roast the superstar for this game, with one fan joking that he needs Stephen Curry to win games.

It is clear that Kevin Durant needs to be better for the Phoenix Suns to win at the highest level. He is widely considered to be the best player on the team, and the expectation for him is to be the one that leads them to wins night in and night out.

It remains to be seen if the Phoenix Suns can come back from this 2-0 deficit. They will have the next two games at home, and hopefully, we see them win both to even up the series.
