NBA Fans shared their two cents after a four-year-old report of Devin Booker wanting to build a superteam surfaced.

Per a Yahoo! Sports report, “Dynasties only last for so long,” Booker had said in 2018. “I’m not wishing trades upon any of the superteams.” And fans, on their part, added that he now had a shot of winning a title with Kevin Durant in their ranks.

The discussion thread on Reddit was filled with responses from fans.

“Well, it’s a good thing a new 7-foot passenger hopped onto his bus then,” one of the fans wrote. From an opponent’s perspective. “Bucks are a bigger, physically stronger team. If Suns can make it out the West, I would give Bucks 60-40 advantage,” a fan theorized.

Some focused on the debate about the team’s superstar. “Deandre Ayton is clearly the third guy on that team, not Paul,” a comment read. One message was clearly crisp. “Ok D-book, walk your talk,” he wrote. “very vet that came to the Suns came partly because of Book. Man did well,” another said.

The Suns were off to a good start in Durant’s maiden outing with the Suns. They notched up a 105-91 win against the Charlotte Hornets.

Devin Booker Left Impressed With Kevin Durant’s Skills

All the hype around Durant ahead of his Suns’ debut proved to be right when the veteran poured 23 points to complement Booker’s 37.

Speaking to the media in the aftermath of the win, the 26-year-old lavished rich praise on the forward. “It’s just every time he shoots the ball. It’s just so effortless,” Booker lauded. “You can see defenders trying their hardest to contest or fight over a screen, and he looks unbothered or unfazed.”

On his part, Durant was pleased with his debut as well. “Just got to keep grinding, man, and this jersey on me will look normal as games go on,” Durant said.

Phoenix is currently placed 34-29 in the West, and this was the first game that Durant suited up for the team. It will be interesting to see how the Suns fare as the regular season inches to an end.
